Summer "to do" list

Ahhh yes, it is the one thing we talk about every summer. My husband has two months off and every year there is some discussion about what will be on his "to do" list. The dreaded "to do" list as he would call it. This year one of the big ticket items was our kitchen backsplash. Well those who have heard me complaining about how long it was taking (because he was trying to read Harry Potter while working on it) need not worry because it is done!

(for those who don't know every time a new Harry Potter book comes our Matthew starts with book number one and reads them all through again - hehe).

With some help from our good friend Mike a suggestion was made as to how to finish the work faster (see below).
