Book Club

For those who have not yet heard Julie started a blog called "Eyes on Books" which is a book club for the Ethiopian adoption community. What a really great idea. "Trouble" is one of the books being featured this month.


I also wanted to post about Lawrence Hill's book called "The book of Negroes". Since I started blogging I know I have recommended a number of different books but this one is my favourite so far. This book is historical fiction and gives some insight into what life might have been like for an African caught up in the North American slave trade. This is a must read for anyone interested in learning more about African American history. Lawrence Hill is Canadian as well!
