City and Colour

Yahh!...Matty managed to pick up tickets for City and Colour in Toronto next week. He tried to get them a few weeks ago but they were sold out (pooey) but he managed to snag two from a guy who couldn't go (yahh). I love this song....sometimes the waiting and uncertainty of this adoption process makes me feel like I have a sleeping sickness too.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there. Click on the picture below to learn about how my mom got on the news (ok, you got me... it is a video you can make on that website - fun to send to your mom).And since we fully expected to have a referral by this mother's day and are still waiting, I was bad this week and made an impulse purchase to treat myself- an ice cream maker. I have to laugh at myself because this is so NOT what I need around the house. Matthew asked me to wait a couple of days before taking it out of the box to see if I changed my mind.
