Definitions

I just read this on the Peter's Family Blog and wanted to share it as well. This is great!

Maybe I should keep a small copy of this in my wallet in anticipation of being asked someday, by some random stranger, where our child's "real parents" are. Then I could pass the little paper along. I have heard so many stories from other families being asked questions in the grocery store etc.. that it is bound to happen at some point.

Natural Child: Any child who is not artificial.
Real Parent: Any parent who is not imaginary.
Your Own Child: Any child who is not someone else's child.
Adopted Child: A natural child, with a real parent, who is all my own.
