My Fathers' Daughter

I just finished reading this book on the weekend and I really enjoyed it. It is a memoir from a woman who was adopted from Eritrea as an infant and raised by a white family in England. It is her story of going back as an adult to Eritrea and finding her birth family and trying to make a connection to her culture. A very good read for anyone adopting, it was interesting to hear her perspective...
I came across an audio interview with her as well and it can be found here if you are interested:
This is also one of the books for the Online Book Club - Eyes on Books
