I just finished reading this book on the weekend and I really enjoyed it. It is a memoir from a woman who was adopted from Eritrea as an infant and raised by a white family in England. It is her story of going back as an adult to Eritrea and finding her birth family and trying to make a connection to her culture. A very good read for anyone adopting, it was interesting to hear her perspective...I came across an audio interview with her as well and it can be found here if you are interested:
