Well the fingerprints came back from Japan after 8 weeks (thank goodness) and Matthew and I signed off on our homestudy. It was sent to Imagine Adoption (our agency) about a week ago and last Thursday it was mailed off to the ministry. So from here we are moving onwards and upwards to the next waiting game. We have been told by Imagine that the ministry has been quite busy recently so we will expect an 8-10 week wait. Following that our papers need to be legalized by Foreign Affairs and then will go to the Ethiopian Embassy in Ottawa (approx 2-4 weeks). Following this our dossier will be sent off to Ethiopia! Hopefully by the end of the summer we will start the wait for a proposal. I have a feeling it may be longer than this, but a girl can dream can’t she?
I have to say both of our families have been great and very supportive. Below is a picture of Ryan and Jann (my brother and sister-in-law). Ryan is a lawyer and was able to notarize our documents for us! Thanks so much, this was a big help and saved us a bit of money!!

Great news! Congrats.
That's awesome! That is a giant step out of the way. I hope your ministry approval is quicker than what they are quoting.
